The Seattle Seahawks main focus of giving is
centered on youth athletics and education. We receive over 2,000 requests
annually to assist with fund-raising efforts of community and charitable
organizations. Due to this large volume of requests, we have established
the following guidelines:
- The Seahawks have established a regional focus for in-kind donations.
Organizations located in the Pacific Northwest (WA, AK, OR, ID, MT)
that are centered on youth football and soccer will generally receive
support, depending on the nature and scope of the request or event.
- If your organization is located outside of the above geographic area,
please contact the NFL team nearest you to request a donation.
- NFL rules place a limit on team's use of complimentary tickets, therefore,
we are unable to use tickets in this manner.
- For consideration, all requests must be submitted in writing on your
organization’s letterhead no less than 6 weeks in advance of
your event. No telephone, fax or email requests will be accepted.
- Requests must contain
- Date of the event
- Type of fund-raiser and how proceeds from event will be used
- Address where donation should be sent (no P.O. box addresses)
- Contact person’s name, address and phone number
- Non profit organization's tax ID number
- In order to assist the greatest number of organizations, the Seahawks
will only consider one donation request per organization each calendar
year
- The Seahawks do not accept fan merchandise for the purpose of autographing
for charity or otherwise. Items received by the Seahawks will be returned
to the sender. We cannot be held responsible for items sent to us that
are lost or damaged.
