This Transportation Guide is designed to help
you successfully plan your travel and parking for events at Qwest Field
and Event Center.
To enhance your event-day experience, Qwest Field has teamed with Metro
and Sound Transit to provide quick and convenient bus and rail service.
Please be aware that street parking in the vicinity of the stadium is restricted
and enforced on event days. For further information during the season, call
the Seahawks Transportation Hotline at

Parking and transportation options for Qwest Field and Event Center include:
BUSES Regular Metro Transit Service
Qwest Field and Event Center is located just south of downtown Seattle.
Over ten transit routes pass within 3 blocks of the site and operate at
least every 30 minutes, including weekends. Regularly posted fares will

ST Express Bus Service
For more travel options, Sound Transit’s ST Express buses serve
Qwest Field throughout the week, from most major cities in the region. This
convenient service is only $3 each way and is a great alternative for weekday
games when the Sounder Train is not in service. Click

Metro Park & Ride Service
For Seahawks football games and select major events, Qwest Field and Event
Center has teamed with Metro to provide special Park & Ride service
from five designated Park & Ride lots. Buses will begin boarding at
Park & Ride lots 2 hours prior to game time, with a bus leaving every
20 minutes, or when they are full. The last bus will leave the Park &
Ride lot 45 minutes prior to game time so that riders can arrive before
kickoff (traffic permitting). Please be aware that the last buses from the
Kent and Federal Way Park & Ride lots will leave 60 minutes prior to
kickoff. This quick and convenient service is only $3 each way.
Metro Park & Ride lots used for these major events are:
- Northgate Transit Center (700 spaces)
10200 1st Ave. NE, located immediately south of Northgate Mall.
- South Kirkland Park & Ride (603 spaces)
108th Ave. NE/NE 38th Place, located north of SR-520. Take the SR-908/Kirkland
exit.
- Eastgate Park & Ride (1,700 spaces)
14200 SE Eastgate Wy, located north of I-90 on SE Eastgate Way between
the I-405 and 148th Ave. SE interchanges.
- Kent Park & Ride (729 spaces)
902 W. James St., located west of downtown Kent on the corner of Lincoln
Ave. at James St.
- Federal Way Park & Ride (894 spaces)
S. 320th St./I-5, located west of I-5 just south of S. 320th St. Take
exit #143 off I-5 to S. 320th.
Express Bus Arrivals and Departures To avoid the major construction
projects that will be underway in the area around Qwest Field, new bus loading
and unloading areas have been identified to accommodate riders:
- Buses from the Eastgate and South Kirkland Park & Ride Centers
will arrive/depart at 5th Avenue South and South Weller Street in the
International District.
- Buses from the Northgate Park & Ride Center will arrive/depart
at 1st Avenue South and Royal Brougham Way (across the street from Safeco
Field).
- Buses from the Kent and Federal Way Park & Ride Centers will arrive/depart
at 3rd Avenue South and Royal Brougham Way.
These are Metro's optimum locations for proximity and safety. The distance
of the route from the stadium to these locations are approximately 3 to
4 blocks. These locations will lead to a speedy departure back to the Park

Charter Buses
Charter buses to Seahawks games operate from many areas throughout the
Pacific Northwest. If you would like arrange charter bus transportation,

For charter bus transportation from Olympia through the Capital City
Seahawkers, call Jeri Ross at (360) 459-0077.
Primary charter bus parking is located
in the Qwest Field North Lot. Access is via the main lot entrance at King
Street & Main Street. Charter operators should call the Seahawks Ticket
Sales Office at (888) 635-4295 to purchase parking passes, well in advance
of the event.
There will be no day-of-game sales for charter bus parking in
the North Lot.
Overflow charter bus parking will be in the WOSCO Lot at Railroad Way
& Royal Brougham, behind the buildings on First Ave south. WOSCO spaces
are available for advance purchase by calling Diamond Parking at 206-284-3100.

TRAINS
Sounder Rail Service
Sounder rail service will be provided for every Sunday afternoon
Seahawks game. Please note: Sounder does not run on Saturday. For weekday
games, Sounder will operate under its normal work-day schedule unless
otherwise announced.
For Sunday games, the northbound trains leave Tacoma at 10:45 a.m. and
11:05 a.m., with stops in Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent and Tukwila.
The southbound trains leave Everett at 11:00 a.m. and 11:20 a.m., with
a stop in Edmonds. Trains arrive at King Street Station (a short walk
to Qwest Field and Event Center) in downtown Seattle at 12 noon and leave
King Street Station 15 and 30 minutes after the conclusion of each game.
Regular commuter rail fares apply. Tickets may be purchased in advance,
or on game day, from ticket vending machines at each station.
Tickets
- Tickets are available at all Ticket Vending Machines.
- The ticket purchasing process will match the daily commuter ticket
purchase process (not special event option).
- The Day Pass (or one way ticket) option of the menu will function
for these purchases.
- Tickets can be purchased in advance at machines by selecting the “Advance”
button after selecting the Day Pass (or other pass type).

information. Amtrak Cascades
There's
nothing like taking the train. Try whizzing through the Northwest and British
Columbia in a custom-built, Euro-style passenger train. Now that's the way
to travel. Arriving at Qwest Field and Event Center via Amtrak Cascades
is great option for fans from Portland or southwest Washington as well as
from Bellingham and other points north—but be sure to book your tickets
early as trains heading to and from Sunday’s games fill up fast!

There is heavy train traffic surrounding South Downtown and Qwest Field
and Event Center. Please cross railroad tracks only at public streets and
marked pedestrian crosswalks. Be alert: stop, look and listen for trains.
AUTOMOBILES
Parking
Parking around Qwest Field and Event Center is very limited, particularly
in the International District and Pioneer Square where many lots are reserved
for regular customers and local residents.
The parking lots surrounding Qwest Field managed by International Parking
Management (IPM) will open three hours prior to event start times. These
are the North Lot, Qwest Field Event Center Garage and Union Station Garage.
The North Lot and Exhibition Center Garage are sold out for 2006 on a season
basis. There will be no day-of-game sales for these lots and ONLY pass-holders
will be permitted access to these parking lots and access points.
Additionally, the majority of the spaces in the Safeco Field Garage and
Safeco’s Homeplate Lot have been sold on a season basis. Metered parking
is available under the Alaskan Way viaduct in Pioneer Square.
Private day-of-game lots include: WOSCO Lot at Railroad Way and Royal Brougham,
1st Ave. S. & Atlantic St. (north and south sides), 1st Ave. S. &
S. Holgate St., and in the International District – 5th Ave. S. &
S. Jackson and 6th Ave. S. & S. King. RV
Parking
Primary RV parking is located in the Qwest Field North Lot. Access is via
the main lot entrance at King Street & Main Street. RV passes are sold
out on a season basis. There will be no day-of-game
sales for RV parking in the North Lot.
Overflow RV parking will be in the WOSCO Lot at Railroad Way & Royal
Brougham, behind the buildings on First Ave south. WOSCO spaces are available

Parking
Two adjacent lots to Qwest Field, the North Lot and Qwest Field Event Center
Garage, are sold out on a season basis. Limited disabled parking in the
North Lot may be available on day of game and will be sold on a first come,
first serve basis. The Union Station garage is available for season parking.
The elevator at 4th Ave. & Weller Street Overpass will enable you to
reach the stadium North Lot from Union Station and avoid stairways. A state-issued,
disabled placard is required for disabled parking access.
Passenger Drop-Off Zone
The passenger and disabled drop-off zone is located off the intersection
of Railroad Way S. at Occidental Ave.(across from the Seahawks Pro Shop),
which can be accessed from 1st Ave. S. Drivers may drop off their passengers
adjacent to the stadium prior to parking until kickoff. Similar access will
be provided after every major event. Traffic Routing
Please pay attention to freeway and directional signage before and after
games. A special post-game routing plan will be in place to minimize congestion
and disperse traffic as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Event traffic
control signs and police officers will direct traffic to and from major
parking areas. I-5 reversible lanes will be in operation in the afternoon
for weekend Seahawks games. Carpoolers may use the HOV lanes. Auto
Trouble
AAA provides roadside assistance after Seahawks games in the North Lot,
Qwest Center garage and Union Station garage. Limited service is available,
including lockout rescue, flat tire service and jump-starts.
For non-Seahawks events, please see the parking attendant to arrange
for assistance.
FERRIES
Washington State Ferries
Washington State Ferry service operates on a regular schedule. Bainbridge
Island and Bremerton ferries (passenger and vehicle) will arrive and depart
from the Colman Dock on Pier 52 at the foot of Marion St. (801 Alaskan
Way). Pier 52 is an easy walk to or from the stadium through historic
Pioneer Square. Southworth and Vashon ferries make the trip to the Fauntleroy
Terminal in West Seattle, where the #54 bus can be taken to the Stadium

TAXI SERVICE
Taxicabs are available at the Northwest corner of 1st Avenue and Royal
Brougham after Seahawks games. Additionally, taxi cabs are available at
